12 years ago, Rose Ajmera was given the opportunity to start a business keeping the art of India alive. Her goal was to fuse Indian art with western style to create a completely unique, but wearable, clothing line. What started out as international wholesale has now grown into an independent retail website known as SAACHI.

SAACHI was launched in July 2008 as a line of exclusive, chic pieces epitomizing true Indian artisanship with a modern edge. SAACHI provides consumers with an abundance of fashion accessories. Designer evening wraps, cashmere scarves, hand embroidered footwear, tunics and jewelry can all be found at our website.

SAACHI is a New York based company that prides itself on producing quality goods. Our designs are of the highest level couture work. The designer’s visions are translated into wearable works of art. Many of our stoles and scarves are replicas of those worn by the Maharajas and Maharinis of India.

We are known for our dramatic designs made from the highest quality raw materials. SAACHI products are crafted from handmade textiles in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Our products range from warm wools to precious cashmere to lavish silks.
